Climate change is a common challenge mankind faces, requiring joint efforts from all countries worldwide. Both China and African nations are deeply affected by climate change, and they have been actively responding to it.
China has signed 19 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on South-South cooperation to address climate change with 17 African countries.
China has trained over 1,500 participants from African countries in areas such as environmental management, pollution control, the green economy and climate change to boost capacity in green development.
As China-Africa green cooperation deepens, it will boost sustainable development and modernization efforts, creating a more vibrant and prosperous China-Africa relationship.
